Hanna Instruments, Inc. Announces New General Manager of U.S. Commercial Operations

Smithfield, RI, November 2022 – Hanna Instruments, Inc. (Hanna) announces Tim Shannon as General Manager of U.S. Commercial Operations. He joins Hanna with over 30 years of successful business leadership experience and expertise.

Tim will lead the Hanna U.S. division and look for new opportunities to expand Hanna’s national footprint for its scientific analytical testing products. He will drive the organization’s growth strategy and increase Hanna’s customer base in the food and beverage industries as well as the drinking water and wastewater markets.

Before Hanna Instruments, Inc., Tim held a broad range of commercial and executive leadership positions for Fortune 50 companies such as General Electric and Bristol Myers. He also worked for various mid-size companies including: U.S. Surgical Corporation, Teleflex, Inc., Datascope Corp., and Boston Scientific Corporation. He most recently served as President, ad interim at DSM Biomedical, a Division of Royal DSM.
